Carol Szot
Carol‘s professional career focused on the business world mostly in the area of Navy acquisition, business development, and communication. Upon her retirement in 2004, she finally found time to pursue the arts, which had always been a love. With a group of new friends in St. James, Carol learned the art of basket weaving, sharing her earlier creations with family and friends. Once again, the business side monopolized her ‘free’ time via her volunteering with the St. James POA and the Service Club. In 2015 Carol decided to once again give her time to her creative side and applied to the Artisans.
With great joy and pride, Carol is now contributing baskets and crocheted items to the St. James Gallery.
