Luanne Paisley
Artist Bio: Luanne Paisley is a contemporary abstract realism painter who has been exploring many mediums from oil paints and mixed media to pastels. Her style is painterly and sometimes impressionistic, striving to let color and shape lead her through the creation of each piece. Luanne has an MBA in Business and had a full career in Healthcare IT Services before embarking on her creative track.
She started painting full time in 2020 during the pandemic learning from what she could find on the internet. In October 2023 she enrolled in Milan Art Institute’s on-line art school and is currently working on a portfolio of works. She is showing her works at the Artisan’s gallery in Southport, NC. and posts her works on Instagram @luannelovespaisley.
Artist Statement:
I have been on this wonderful journey of discovery. My goal is to find movement, grace, and a color story to depict the beauty of the subject matter I am painting. I focus on rich colors in landscapes, and botanicals. I also paint portraits that capture a moment or mood. I believe in letting the viewer participate in the story of the painting. My work is evolving every day as I try to push myself in new directions.
