Pat Bittenbender

 Pat Bittenbender’s chosen media is oils with pen & ink added for interest.  Her miniature oil paintings are created on blown glass bulbs, which present a challenge to portray her subject with imagination on such a small canvas.  Her St. James Ornaments have been available since 1997, adding a new theme every Fall.   Watercolor is a new media where Pat experiences the joy of creating additional miniature subjects ranging from florals to coastal scenes.  Trips to visit the sites that are the subjects of her work provide the opportunity for Pat to experience the sounds & feel of coastal living as well as a deep respect for the historic value of many of our nation’s historic structures.
